Welcome to the Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course

Minimize

On behalf of the members of the AGMSC Committee, I'd like to welcome you to the Short Course web site. Here, you will find the latest news and information about the AGMSC. The AGMSC provides an excellent opportunity for everyone associated with the Gas Measurement Industry to learn from 88 class lecture periods and over 100 periods of Hands On classes. Whether you are new to the gas industry or have many years of experience, you will find a class that meets your needs.

Take a look through the 2011 Final Program and you will find classes which add to the knowledge of technicians, engineers, supervisors, field support workers, government regulators, accountants, marketers, vendors, and many others.

Our goal is to provide various types of inexpensive, high quality training to those involved in the measurement, regulation and control of natural gas. Our instructors are experienced volunteers from the gas industry and they have a great deal of knowledge to share with you. This Short Course also provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and share information with your other peers in the gas industry.

The 2011 AGMSC had over 1,300 persons registered. (Attendee list will be available shortly on the Registration page) There were 175 exhibit tables, providing a great opportunity to see the latest in technology of various types of equipment used in the gas industry.

Mark your calendar!

The dates for the 2012 AGMSC have been set for Tuesday through Friday, August 14 - 17, 2012. We look forward to seeing you in August and hope you'll take advantage of this great opportunity!

Sincerely,

Scott LaPlante - NSTAR Energy
Chair - General Committee
